A full-scale, multi-agency training exercise is set for next Thursday. The County of Kauai in partnership with the Hawaii National Guard’s 93rd Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team will hot the training exercise to enhance preparedness for hazardous materials incidents and natural or human-caused emergencies. The exercise will be held at Nawiliwili Harbor from 730 AM until 5 PM. Kauai Emergency Management, Kauai Police and Fire Departments, American Medical Response, the US Coast Guard, Wilcox Medical Center, and other groups will participate in the exercise.
