Hurricane Ruge Center Information

County of Kauai has closed all parks and campgrounds and has opened all refuge areas ahead of Hurricane Lowell.  Residents in low-lying coastal areas should be prepared to evacuate and should not wait for conditions to worsen before leaving.  Roadways could become impassable due to multiple factors.  Residents are asked to prepare for the storm and have a plan to escape, if necessary.  For more and to find a Refuge Area near you, go to www.kauai.gov/KEMA/.
