Hawaii Department of Transportation will installed raised crosswalks will be installed on Thursday night in Hanalei. The installation is part of the Kuhio Highway Resurfacing and Safety Improvement project. The construction will happen from 8 PM until 5 AM Thursday night. The Department of Transportation is installing the raised crosswalks, speed tables, and speed bumps in an effort to improve pedestrian safety.
