Kaua’i Police Department honored dispatcher Stephanie Neher as its employee of the month. Neher was off-duty when she encountered a car crash and assisted an injured motorcyclist who was critically injured. Neher performed life-saving CPR until first responders arrived on the scene. After the heroic effort, Neher reported to her scheduled shift despite the emotional impact of the incident. Dispatcher Neher was honored on Friday morning by the Kaua’i Police Commission.
