Kauai Police Department is hosting free car seat safety checks in August. KPD officers will be on hand to inspect your car seat instillation free of charge. This Saturday, at the Town Center in Kapa’a from 9 AM until 12 PM. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that most parents and caregivers believe they know how to install car seats correctly, but only 46% have installed their child’s car seat incorrectly.
