Kauai Emergency Management Agency reminds residents that the potential refuge area list is available online at www.kauai.gov/KEMA. The list identifies facilities across the island that may be used during emergencies for people to see refuge across the island. The refuge areas are evacuation options of last resort during emergencies. The Central Pacific hurricane season runs through November 30.
