A surfer has died in the waters off of Hanama’ulu Beach Park. Kauai Fire Department dispatched to a call of an unresponsive surfer next to his board 25-yards offshore. Bystanders brought the individual to shore and administered CPR. The surfer transported to Wilcox Medical Center and pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected.
