Kauai Police Department made an arrest after a serious traffic accident in Wailua. A 2026 Kawasaki motorcycle was hit by a 2012 Nissan Rogue. A 57-year-old man from Lihue suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle was hit by the Nissan. The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle and is in critical condition at Queen’s Medica Center on O’ahu. 24-year-old Anela Say of Kapa was uninjured in the collision. Say has been charged with negligent injury in the first degrees, inattention to driving, and driving without a license.
